He's ripping on all sorts of boards lately would have been unreal to see him compete on the asymms. That board is a combo of a step up and a fish https://albumsurf.com/collections/insanity

Kerr used asymms at Teahupoo for a few years.

That last one is just insane ridden perfectly and with style, looks so cool how he comes out casual.
Not Kirra perfection of old but still looks much better than it's been for some time?

No clue where it is, but holy crumbs it's chunky! Some very good barrel riding.
Luke02Sunday, 18 Mar 2018 at 5:36pm
Not sure I've ever seen it as thick and heavy as that!

What a joke, it finally breaks half decent and of course a posse of Pros turn up with the Pro-duction team in tow. They're all gammin anyway, not a single-fin to be seen.

The Ed's here are knowledgeable enough to know this ain't the GC. Why the ruse? Going along with the story? I know you're not going name it but you could have as easily said a Queensland point break.....
BillywTuesday, 20 Mar 2018 at 10:11pm
Good ol Swellnet, over exposing another spot and trying to make themselves feel better by 'cryptically' saying its GC.

Actually, the text was copied straight from the videographer's Vimeo page (as was emailed through to us). We decided to run with it, rather than open up a discussion about whether these waves were indeed filmed on the Gold Coast.

Cheers Ben. I think most of us realised you just passed it on "as is" and have no bone whatsoever with that.
But seriously guys it's SE Qld...hungry surfers crawl over this place like ants on a pork chop. There are few secrets.

I'd reckon it's more generally thought of as part of the Goldy than anything else, even though it's not.
Gary GWednesday, 21 Mar 2018 at 1:09pm
Gary would recommend some self reflection to the heroes who pointed out that the spot is not technically on the gold coast, thus pinpointing its location, and then piling in to berate swellnet for 'exposing' spots.
Swellnet is not the place Gary comes when he is interested in such indecent exposure, that's for sure.

I've never been the sharpest tool in the shed but I don't get it. How many of these pro dudes are there? There must be frickin' thousands of 'em. Whenever your fickle backyard break turns half decent, just like magic, bang, they all show up and to make yet another movie about themselves wriggling about on surfboards. Always during the week too, like they never have to work. My brain hurts. I need to lie down...........

Looks like this is where some of the skis went during the comp. they were noticeably absent (save for the ‘cooly kids’) during that day. Their reach knows no bounds, along with their penchant for taking your $ while fucking up your day of days
