drouyn-420x0.jpgWanted: Peter Drouyn and/or Westerly Windina footage

Alan White and Jamie Brisick, the directors of the upcoming Westerly Windina documentary, are looking for archival footage of Peter Drouyn -- film, video, or stills. Drouyn invented man-on-man surfing and was one of the best surfers in the world in the '60s and '70s.

Anyone holding footage please contact Jamie Brisick -- [email protected]

Many thanks.

Wasn't there a movie called Drouyn? Maybe Bob Evans. There really shouldn't be any shortage of material. I probably have a few shots but others would have a lot more. I would be thinking Bruce Channon for stills and Dick Hoole for movie.

"Drouyn and Friends." Peter Drouyn, Bob Evans, his son, and Bruce Channon go global wandering. Big ambition. Big budget. Big flop. Mostly due to timing; was released at same time as "Morning of the Earth".

Jamie is really looking for unseen photos and footage.

I won't be back in Sydney for another week but I will have a look. I have a vague memory of an unused water shot from Bells
