Great vid, agree with more surfing footage.... Rail turn @ 1min ...imagine trying to put one of those planks on rail like that.

I was saving this to watch tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it.

As a Queensland surfer who began in the early 80's and have surfed practically every square inch of coast from Agnes to the border, the names that I'd long forgotten was such a blast.

Looking at that warm blue water kind of made me homesick right now. Don't miss the crowds though:)

Hmm, during the 70s, I'm sure a qlder or 2 won a world title... Could've made more about that...... Wasn't a qlder crowned as first ever world pro champ? Anyway.... Some great archival footage....

As said, some classic footage and an overall good rundown of the States history.
Interestingly, no mention of Butto, Guy Ormerod, Sammy Watts, Jamie Kasdaglis and NPJ...just to name a few.
