Green Cathedral Surf Swap
The Green Cathedral Surf Festival Surf Swap Meet is locked in for Saturday 14th December. Part of the Green Cathedral Surf Festival, presented by Wollongong Art Gallery, the surf swap is a chance for keen punters to buy, swap, or just tyre kick a huge selection of pre-1990 sleds. This ain't no backyard gig either. Hosted by nutty board collector, Damion Fuller, fresh from his Bulli Bagus holiday, the surf swap will have an incredible range of boards as well as music, photos, entertainment and education. Entry is free. On the day there'll be:
- Outdoor swap meet of pre-1990 surfboards being bought and sold.
- Lecture by Geoff Cater of Surfreasearch.com.au
- Exhibition of vintage surf craft and memorabilia from the south coast curated by Milly Hyde.
- Art and photography exhibition including works by Ozzie Wright and Gerry Wedd.
- Raffle of new 'Treehouse' surfboard with all funds going to Surfrider Foundation Australia.
