Taj Burrow's recent win at the Quiksilver Pro caps an impressive winning trifecta. Burrow has won the last three competitions that he's entered, beginning with the Pipeline Masters last December, continuing on to last months Breaka Burleigh Pro, and finishing with last weeks win at Snapper Rocks.

This weekend he travels down to Bondi Beach for the Boost Mobile SurfSho where he hopes to take his fourth win from as many starts.

The last three competitions were held in everything from heaving ten foot Pipeline to small down-the-line Snapper. He now takes his act to a beach known for conditions more suited to his style of surfing – onshore beachbreaks.

It's a long way from a Dream Tour set-up but for the SurfSho organisers it's a dream scenario. The competition revolves around big airs and for that the competitors need small to medium-size waves with light onshore winds. Exactly what is forecast for this weekend!

Also working in his favour is that he's a past winner of a Boost Mobile SurfSho. In 2007 he won the event when it was held at Surfers Paradise so he's no stranger to the format.

The Boost Mobile SurfSho runs from the 12th to 14th March at Bondi Beach.
