Return Of El Nino
Welcome To El Nino
El Nino, El Nino.
Hold on, you're going to hear a lot about 'the little boy' in coming months. All worth it if the season kicks on from this stellar start.
The above clip is from last Wednesday, a slicker version of the raw clips that hit the 'net mere hours after the sun set over Maui. Known for his drone skills, ol' Tucker Wooding is beginning to mix it up with various angles and editing.
And speaking of angles, check the thirty-second mark and old mate swimming Jaws who has a great hook up with Albee. Can't wait to see those shots when they appear.

So exciting to have Peahi Season; wondering if any shapers out there know anything about Albee's SB. I know it's 12" +/- shorter than most guns out there and that he's been riding it for a few years. I wonder, for example, is his wide point more forward than most Peahi guns?
Not much in it board width wise IMHO Layers talent however is next level on how he snags the inside ones and then throws in the odd bomb.
Might be an argument for the bottom of Layers board being a little different but suspect it's just his supreme judgment (right depth) ability and strength that shines.
I think Albee has a few different SOS guns in that colour design, and I know one was an 8'2. I found this on Stab:

I think all his Jaws boards are 8' something for West Bowl knife-ins. He's a beast.
IB > thanks for the link; that's what I was after, very interesting comment, that this SB can't go straight, it has to be up on a rail to fully function. > RR
IF > thanks for info. I recon you're right, extreme talent & confidence are his main portals
Unreal eh
