Bit of a mystery the 'Snapt' film franchise. I've filled columns with B-Roll clips from Snapt 1, 2, 3, and 4, featuring surfers from all over, Asher Pacey, Josh Kerr, Jack Robo, and Mason Ho, and yet I don't think I've ever watched one of the Snapt films.

Do they exist? Is this all just elaborate marketing..?

Here's Clay Marzo's B-Roll and it's mightily impressive. So good it's hard to believe theses are the outtakes.

Snapt 1 & 2 are classic. Late 90’s/Early 00’s -Golden age of surfing.

That gouge or whatever you want to call it at 0:45 was nuts.

Love Marzo's surfing- part cat, part dolphin, part rhino.

There's 2 or 3 turns that Clay Marzo owns.
- The gouge-and-release to 1-foot-on-board to make
- The aerial version of that.
- The forehand layback barrel stall
No-one else has the trademark on those.

AND he's a power beast. Love his surfing.

Possibly the most satisfying surfer to watch.

Total involvement surfing. More moxie than JJF and much more inventive, Much better style than M Ho, and not a put on act. Not as acrobatic as Italo, but surfs the whole wave, not just the one section/ramp.

Would be insane to watch Clay and Gabriel at 8ft Cloudbreak. Very different surfers/surfing, but imho the two most talented.

As someone wrote on here, he was with a wa local girl and left her or something etc etc, didn't end on good terms, hes not welcome back up north wa doesn't wear wetsuits either which is nuts. he lost a lot of money due to as dodgy accountant same sort of deal as the wrights
