They were so desperate to stay away from anything remotely near the centre and it’s still biting them on the arse.
My step-father is a staunch Liberal voter since forever, and has a kind of Lord of the Boomers demeanor. Reads The Australian, farkin' hates the greenies, doesn't believe in CC, and is offended by David Attenborough (which is to me one of the saddest things ever). He has always voted Libs at all levels, Howard and Abbott amongst his champions. Not last Saturday though. The main reason he was not voting LNP (for the first time ever in 75 odd years) was because of "Matt Keen".
To be honest, I'm not sure what that means.
Is Matt Keen too green even for rusted on LNP voters?
