Teed up a fun side project recently - bought a second hand 'orphan' drum kit off Gumtree, a brand/model/size I've been after for quite a while (late 70's Ludwig). Got Matt from Brisbane Drums to refurbish the drums and apply a brand new gloss wrap. And what an incredible job he has done!

Ben they look beautiful. Nothing like a tradesman that takes pride in their work and he has some mad skill by the look of that kit. Nothing like the feeling you get restoring stuff. I bet you have spent a bit of time just looking at them. The question I have is can you play them? and if so how about uploading a clip of you banging them.

Only just got 'em back, now I need to locate a soundproof room! Trying to maintain favourable relationships with the neighbours etc.

Also got my old kit (and some other stuff) done at the same time too.. I've had this thing for over 20 years. Nice to give it some TLC!
