Even Politico which is usually straight down the middle reporting without an opinion in sight, reports more damaging material. Then there is your suggestion that being critical of Trump means being left of centre. If that was true, more than half the Republican Party would be lefties. Trump has transcended all poltical alignments. Everyone knows exactly what he is; a narcissistic infantile incompetent who is responsible for probably a hundred thousand unnecessary deaths in the US. That News.com under-report the level of his dysfunction is typical of their long term style of bending the news to the ideology of their boss. But thanks for the laugh. I read news.com.au occasionally and I’ve noticed that when there’s a more centre or even slightly left opinion article the comments are never open for public discussion.
Anything reporting a negative opinion of progressive views or policy (or any article that mentions Daniel Andrews) the comments are open for their majority right wing readers to post vile comments about commo” Dan or pinko, greeny, leftard, snowfake, dole bludgers etc. etc. etc.
It’s a very clever and very subversive way of making it look like popular opinion sways the way the editors wish. Any reader would assume the majority of Australians feel that way.
