Does anyone know of a sunscreen that doesn't run into and burn the crap outta your eyes?

Just bog yourself up with zinc. Use the bronze stuff if you don't wanna look like an extra from the black and white minstrel show.

I've used it for years. Works great.

I foolishly avoid using sunscreen because of eye burning. I have noticed that if I apply it well in advance of hitting the water I have less of an issue. I also wash the sunscreen off my hands/fingers with wet sand before entering the water so if I rub my eyes I don't get a double hit. I just use any old water resistant sun cream from the chemist.

Do any of the creams mentioned above specifically mention on the label they are good or better for eye burn or is it all about technique, perhaps as I have worked out?

I meant to say that the SolRx does not sting your eyes, not taht it says that on the label but it does work.

Gidday, yeh, Aloeup Water Sports 30 + states it, and actually does it. I surfed virtually everyday for years and years, and all the others were blinding in comparison.

had no troubles with invisible zinc from brand name or chemist brand. two weeks in indo this year, ran out of one, used the other didn't get a patch of burn whatsoever...the guys i saw there though...reminded me of that end scene from starwars III. one guy couldn't even surf it was so bad

Vetra, both the zinc and the face vream are really good.

Also there is a all natural zinc for warm water from Bali called surf yogis sunscreen http://surfyogis.com/products.html that is excellent
