Wednesday's swell held well into yesterday with fun 2ft waves seen across the coast. Today the swell was back to a smaller 1-2ft, but we've got some fun waves on the way for the weekend.
This weekend (Dec 14 - 15)
A strong polar front pushing up towards us over the last couple of days is just passing under us (pictured right) and this should produce a fun 2-3ft of SW swell for tomorrow. Winds should be favourable and from the W/NW tomorrow morning, while as the swell fades Sunday W/NW winds should persist all day.
Next week (Dec 16 onwards)
Small to tiny swells will pad out early next week ahead of a fun SW groundswell on Wednesday. This doesn't look to top 2ft at this stage but we'll look at this again on Monday.
