Tide and moon forecast
Hey Bukz, there are tide phases on both the website and app.
The website has the tide at the very bottom of 'Surf Report' page and also underneath the wind on the 'Surf Forecast' page. The app has them bottom left on 'Surf Forecast' - which should be the page you're immediately taken to after typing in a location.
Perhaps they could be displayed better, but they're there.
As for swell energy, the jury is still out on that being a worthwhile metric. The sites using it - Surf-Forecast.com I think? - derive it from an equation involving period and height - it's not a measurement on its own.
It feels like it started, not as a helpful metric, but as an attempt to create a point of difference, so we're not yet convinced about using it to describe surf conditions.
That may change in the future but it's where we sit right now.
I like swellnets forecast, better than others imo but i do not understand why you don't have a column on the bottom for tides and also swell energy, why not? That would make it a way mote complete forecast tool. Thank you
