The New Board Thread!
thanks udo ...yeah i read all that and was very informative but its a few years old now so was hoping there was more updated info from punters .....maybe edge boards have faded into the ether.
Here's the latest addition to my fleet.
100% hand crafted, fins and all, the workmanship, quality, finish and attention to detail is first class.
It's a stretched version of this:
which I've had for just over two years, and has provided me with countless hours of absolute joy.
Huge thank you to MP for all the work he put into both boards.
Beautiful!
WOW Salty , Shane has scored big time .
Seems like Mick is still pumping out wonderful wave craft .
A group bought a Twinny off him , 42 years ago for a 21st present for my brother .
MP is 2 the MP , what Wayne Lynch is to the West Coast , a bloody Legend !!!
Thought the pictures could be at his place out the back beach .
If I drive by and his car is there , I will Pop in and say I saw this beauty on SN .
I bet he is NOT on here reading this lol .
No fn way , he would say lol !
Too busy surfing .

IB and others - do you know if Josh Keogh's taking orders for boards at the moment?
Thought he might have been flooded with orders post Harry Bryant movie but wanted to treat myself a 50th present...
Busy building a house, but is taking orders

Very nice looking board AW. How’s it go? Did you gel with it straight away?

Seeds. Hi mate.
Haven’t put my feet on it yet.
Thursday was looking the goods, 4ft, got near the coast and it’s all lumpy and bumpy from the previous days wind. I give it a miss, go back to my deck construction . Low and behold, after lunch , swell picks up to 4-5ft, benign conditions take over the coast and there was not a puff of wind, total oil slick conditions.
Those who persisted were well rewarded with crew surfing right up until dark in sublime conditions.
Now we enter 10 days of misery. Thems, the breaks. AW
Very nice!
Yes, basalt looks crispy, as the kids say.
Speaking of crispy, I had a look at some Ben Webbs today at Boards in the Bay. Mmmm...
Educate me a little on basalt cloth. Why and how is it different from fibreglass cloth (made from silica sand)?
Good reply. Thank you, Stu.
I could just search and learn, but wanted to hear from a convert.
For all those shiny new sticks...that aren't Desert Storms
