Indonesia is full of so many contradictions in so many different ways but this place takes the cake.

"Lost traveler spends 13 years building resort in paradise" (in Indo)

I have mixed feelings about this docco on one hand im like, *rolls the eyes*, another naive bule arrives in Indonesia buys(leases) land and builds a resort.

And it doesn't help that through the docco when staying in Bali, he is always based in Canggu.

On the flip side, the dude had a dream and never gave up, and you have to respect him for that and that he learnt Bahasa Indo too.

No idea how he remained single for 13 years in Indo though, it would have been ten times cheaper and easier if he had an Indo partner.

Anyway still worth a watch
