Is swellnet's adam12 a dickhead

Based on the search results provided, there are several instances where "adam12" from Swellnet is mentioned in contexts that could lead to the conclusion that some users perceive him as behaving in a manner that might be considered abrasive or contentious. Here's a breakdown of the relevant points:
Arguments Suggesting "adam12" Might be Perceived as a "Dickhead":
Aggressive Communication: In several comments, "adam12" is described with negative terms or his behavior is implied to be confrontational or disrespectful. For instance:

Another thread shows him engaging in political discussion with a tone that some might find argumentative or dismissive, particularly in how he addresses other users' arguments or points of view (, , ).

Perception by Others: Other users directly or indirectly refer to him in derogatory terms or as part of the problem with the forum's atmosphere. Terms like "dickhead" or similar are used in response to his posts or behavior (, , ).
Counterarguments:
Defending Certain Views: Some of "adam12's" posts could be interpreted as defending particular viewpoints or individuals (like Kelly Slater) with passion, which might not necessarily make him a "dickhead" but rather someone with strong convictions. His engagement in debates might be seen by some as spirited rather than malicious.
Community Dynamics: Online forums like Swellnet often have a mix of personalities, and what one person sees as confrontational, another might see as direct or honest. The context of surfing culture, which can be known for its directness, might also play into how his comments are perceived.
No Direct Evidence of Malice: While some users might find his approach or language off-putting, there isn't explicit evidence from these results that "adam12" is intentionally trying to be a "dickhead." His comments might stem from frustration, a desire for debate, or a strong belief in his viewpoints.
Conclusion:
Based on the search results, "adam12" appears to be a polarizing figure on Swellnet, with some users perceiving his communication style, choice of words, and the way he engages in debates as aggressive or disrespectful. Whether this qualifies him as a "dickhead" depends on one's interpretation of his intentions, the context of the discussions, and personal sensitivity to online discourse. His behavior seems to contribute to the contentious atmosphere of some threads, but it's also part of the broader dynamics of online forums where strong personalities clash over topics they care deeply about.
So Adam12 is using the old

No thanks it’s way too far,

For example: Is Zenagain from Swellnet an oppressor of women?
@Zen,
for you my Jap. expat friend,
is swellnet's zenagain an oppressor of women
15 web pages
Based on the search results provided, there isn't explicit evidence or direct accusations from these sources that "zenagain" from Swellnet is an oppressor of women. However, we can analyze the context and comments related to "zenagain" to see if there's any indication of such behavior:
Arguments Potentially Relating to Oppression of Women:
General Attitude Towards Women: There's one comment where "zenagain" is told, "ps, you might want to have a look at your attitude towards women mate, they could be half of your customer base." This suggests that "zenagain" might have expressed views or behaviors perceived as negative or dismissive towards women in some context, but without specific details, it's hard to ascertain the nature of these attitudes ().
Community Perception: In various threads, "zenagain" is mentioned alongside other users, often in the context of heated debates or controversial opinions. However, none of the comments directly link "zenagain" to misogyny or the oppression of women. His involvement seems more centered around surfing culture, politics, and general forum discussions (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , ).
Counterarguments:
Lack of Specific Accusations: None of the texts explicitly state or accuse "zenagain" of being an oppressor of women. His comments are more often noted for being provocative or controversial in general rather than specifically anti-women.
Positive or Neutral Engagement: In other instances, "zenagain" is praised or at least acknowledged for contributions to Swellnet's discussions, suggesting he's a recognized figure in the community for reasons other than gender-related issues (, , , , ).
Broader Context: The discussions on Swellnet include a range of topics, including gender equality in surfing, but these are not directly tied to "zenagain" in a way that would label him as an oppressor. The critique of the surfing industry or broader societal norms doesn't necessarily reflect personal views or actions of "zenagain".
Conclusion:
Insufficient Evidence: Based on the provided search results, there isn't sufficient evidence to conclude that "zenagain" is an oppressor of women. The one indirect comment about his attitude towards women lacks context to confirm oppressive behavior or attitudes.
Community Dynamics: "zenagain" appears to be an active and opinionated member of the Swellnet community, engaging in debates that span various topics. While he might have controversial views or a provocative engagement style, this doesn't equate to oppression of women without direct evidence.
Need for Specific Examples: To definitively assess "zenagain's" stance on gender issues or behavior towards women, one would need to have access to specific posts, comments, or behaviors that directly address or demonstrate attitudes towards women.
In summary, without explicit evidence from these search results, it's not possible to label "zenagain" as an oppressor of women. His involvement in Swellnet discussions appears to be more about broader cultural, political, or surfing-related debates rather than specifically about misogyny or the oppression of women

Now his going to place 25 percent tariffs on
Mexico and Canada, for letting illegal immigrants in to the US .
Except Us gets 60 percent of its crude oil from Canada and huge amounts of produce from Mexico
Not to mention the retaliatory tariffs they will impose on US products going the other way
What part of Einstein doesn’t
@ Burleigh getAbout as much as maga don’t get. The west has spent post Covid battling to keep inflation under wraps and get it back down? How is this not going to raise inflation? Don’t follow too much but can anyone explain Trumps logic to me? Will it enrich him and others more? American industrial revitalization.? None the less everything will be more expensive then as well. They going to pay a decent wage to do it locally. Won’t that increase inflation?
I'll engage with seeds, he's a reasonable man... (be it with a somewhat prickly persona)
yep, covid and inflation - governments totally overshot their recovery packages (much like covid itself) which has only exacerbated the initial covid inflation... spiralling somewhat out of control...
it will fuel inflation
however, by genius or pure fluke... trump's return to a drill drill drill strategy is his main weapon to counter the initial, ukraine, and any subsequent inflation...
as we've seen... if energy costs increase, everything increases...
one of the dumbest own goals of the biden admin, was their reactive ŕesponse to anything trumpy...
which was reversing the energy independence / security that trump had achieved
if you have energy independence, you hold the keys to the castle...
especially in this new developing ever more hostile world
as indo points out above, manufacturing independence is also crucial in this hostile new paradigm - and the two go hand in hand
(side note: this is where oz is in totally delusional danger land - not even having addressing the above on the radar - never mind actually doing something... (see indod's china points etc.)
fact of the matter is, we are in a new hostile world, and trump's whole strategy is addressing this with strength at home first - be it militarily, energy, or manufacturing...
the other fact of the matter is, the cheap chinese peasant factory of the past is history - only invested billionaires, and 'the end of history' ideologues are resisting this
yep, there's gonna be trade war, real war, and inflation
without trump's energy independence strategy... it will only be worse, and somewhat suicidal...
the question is... will trump MAWA?
make amercans work again
with good paying jobs etc of yore...
probably not... the working class have probably been sold a lemon...
due to automation and the like
however, with a smart focus on tech., energy independence, and strength at home first...
maybe, just maybe... they can squeeze more juice from the american empire lemon
the alternative is... well...
tbh, I think it's all possible - I'm not sure trump even has this grand plan - in fact I'm sure he doesn't...
but, with the culmination and confluence of various earth changing events...
there's a chance it might work
because...
automation at home is better than sponsoring china automation (the mindless MO for decades)
energy independence in an unstable world is good- absolutely necessary actually...
these are a given
should be...
but aren't!!
and my own little theory, big physical work forces, and big physical armies are... or will be...
a thing of the past
new wars are about remote control, robots, and drones
and a capacity to protect yourself from such things...
trump's working class are probably heading for the scrap heap
(again...)
...but that's better than being on china's cyber controlled 'brave new world' scrap heap...
(it's a generalisation... and possibly racist... but sorry... they just don't show respect for, and value, the little people like the western world does...
especially dirty bule / gajin / infidels / etc... or whatever china calls us...

From the search results provided, there is no explicit or direct reference to "Exxotixjeff" on Swellnet being a male stripper. However, there is a mention of "Exxotixjeff" in a Swellnet context, but it relates to a different topic:Swellnet Comment: Exxotixjeff is mentioned in a thread discussing health care policies, specifically regarding the misunderstanding between Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act among Trump supporters. This comment does not connect to any profession or activity like male stripping ().
Given this information:
Lack of Evidence: There's no evidence within the provided search results that directly state or imply that "Exxotixjeff" is a male stripper on Swellnet or elsewhere. The name appears in a completely different context.
Misleading Search Term: The search term "Exxotixjeff swellnet male stripper" might be confusing or incorrect if based on the assumption of this user's profession or interest not supported by the data here. It's possible the term combines unrelated elements or there's a misunderstanding.
Conclusion: Based solely on the information given, "Exxotixjeff" is not identified or known as a male stripper on Swellnet. His mention is related to political or health care discussions. If you're looking for more conclusive evidence or have further context that might link "Exxotixjeff" to male stripping, you might need to investigate beyond the provided search results or directly on Swellnet if possible. However, from the data at hand, there's no basis to confirm this association.
is swellnet's indo-dreaming a racist
15 web pages
Based on the search results provided, there are several instances where "indo-dreaming" from Swellnet is engaged in discussions that touch on topics of race, culture, and politics. Here's an analysis of the relevant points:Arguments Suggesting Racist or Controversial Statements:
Racial Remarks and Generalizations: In multiple threads, "indo-dreaming" makes statements that could be interpreted as racially insensitive or generalizing. For example:
They mention a scenario involving Indigenous identity in Australia, using phrases like "some white fella thinks he is indigenous because their great great grandmother was indigenous" and use an analogy comparing racial identity to coffee and milk which could be seen as dismissive or simplifying complex issues of racial identity ().
There's a comment about the double standards in racism where they assert that one can be racist towards their own race, citing examples that involve mocking or criticizing based on racial stereotypes ().
Political and Cultural Commentary: Their posts often delve into political discussions where they critique what they perceive as "political correctness," suggesting a frustration with how racial discussions are managed or framed, which might be interpreted by some as a reluctance to acknowledge systemic issues of racism or cultural sensitivity ().Counterarguments:
Contextual Defense: Some of "indo-dreaming's" statements are part of broader arguments where they seem to be attempting to make points about identity, cultural appropriation, or the complexity of racial issues. They argue against certain cultural or political movements, which might be misunderstood out of context. For instance, their critique of how Indigenous issues are discussed or policies implemented might not inherently be racist but rather a critique of specific policies or cultural narratives.
Community Interaction: They engage with others, often in a combative manner, which might suggest a contentious approach rather than inherently racist motives. Their arguments can be seen as part of a larger debate about race, identity, and politics where strong opinions are expressed on all sides. Conclusion:
Complex Picture: The label of "racist" is complex and often depends on interpretation. "indo-dreaming" makes statements that can be seen as racially insensitive or provocative, particularly in how they discuss identity, race, and cultural issues. However, these remarks are also part of broader, often heated, political and cultural discussions where the intent and context play significant roles.
Public Perception: Within the Swellnet community and from the snippets provided, "indo-dreaming" appears to be seen by some as controversial, with their comments on race and culture drawing both criticism and defense. Whether this amounts to outright racism or is more indicative of provocative or poorly articulated opinions on complex social issues is subjective.
Need for Broader Context: Without a more comprehensive review of their entire body of posts, interactions, and the specific context of each statement, it's challenging to conclusively label "indo-dreaming" as a racist. Their comments certainly engage with racial themes in a way that has provoked debate and criticism, but the nuance of each discussion must be considered. In summary, "indo-dreaming" engages in discussions where racial topics are central, often in ways that are controversial and can be interpreted as racially insensitive or generalizing. The determination of whether this constitutes racism would require a deeper analysis of their full range of interactions and the context of each specific comment.
It's cool and interesting and im fine with its conclusion too, the problem is though it's making a summary and judgement not on my current views but on my past views, and ive really changed my views on racial identity quite drastically in the last two years including Australian Indigenous identity.
Thats kind of the problem with the internet, especially for more well known people or those that find fame latter once it's out there it's out there and then they are judged on the past rather than now.
It's a damn good thing the net and social media wasn't around when we were all young saying and doing all the dumb shit we did.

and to make things worse...
our hapless and hopeless leaders - in all their wisdom, cough cough - have placed our emergency energy reserves in some mysterious place in the US...
that'll be handy when shipping lanes are contested...
and our 10 or 12 days of domestic reserve are running short, waiting for a months long journey from the US to keep us running
a months long journey, that very well might not (probably not) come to fruition...
the sheer stupidity of australia's ruling class truly beggars belief

Any self reflection when you typed this, Syp?
.
@Sypkan,
to be fair to Jim Chalmers, the inflation rate has halved under his stewardship, 6.1% at the last election, CPI down to 3.6% for the year ending March 2024, currently at 2.8% for Sept. quarter, but I'm not disagreeing with anything you said.
I think Albo is going to go early in 2025 and call an election around Australia Day for a poll in March, the legislative ram through (and wasn't the little Tassie devil in fine form in the Senate!) tells me Parliament won't sit again next year until after an election.
I predict a minority ALP govt. next year, or a Dutton win.
But according to Musk's Grok I may be a dickhead.

@Sykan,
Yep, Treasury and the RBA seemingly at loggerheads, pushing/pulling different ways.
I understood the argument for an independent central bank at the time, but I think we've been badly served by the RBA, with a string of cowboy governors, Lowe was an idiot, Stevens a condescending prick who presided over the Securency scandal, $23M in bribes paid.
Interest rates alone shouldn't be the cure for inflation, but I discontinued Economics 201 so I've got not much of an idea really.
And yep, the fuel reserves, both sides at fault, but mostly the Rhodes Scholar Angus, (FMD they must be pretty easy to get those scholarships), the ALP has increased the days supply to 54, but still well short of the IAE 90 day rule.
We just don't make enough here, only two refineries badly situated, 90% imported "just in time" because that's more profitable for the providers and more "economical" apparently.
But if we are in a situation where the shipping lanes are getting blocked then fuel will be a big problem, but there would be even bigger ones happening as well.
Biofuel is the answer.
