The Japan one's are 1.8lt T but because they won't come to the negotiating table in good faith I'm changing brands and going diesel. Meeting with our bloke tomorrow- 2.0T 48v mild-hybrid. 1200km + to a tank. No brainer.
Next car will probs be an EV.
N box all the way..with a Spoon makeover!
Base, what a pleasure looking at those flickr pics- so many classic cars.
Our first family car that I can remember was an early 60's Chrysler Valiant similar to the one pictured. A roaming cow in FNQ put an end to that one sadly but my parents enjoyed telling the story years after.

If I ever Chuck It All…. That setup’ll do (as long as the wagon runs, lol)
yeh, sounds the fun, huh? my belmont's a '71, and im doing up a 1970s 10' caravan to drag about behind it. brrrrrrrrrmmmm... I plant trees, help animals, and have convinced many people around here to get limestone slabs, rather that concrete slabs, feel like my green cred's ok.. life's for now, I'll save getting an ev if I get another go-round, I reckon.
(cow @zen.. ouch!! the black ones from poorly-maintained-fence places down here at night are terrifying when you come across them)
Ah Roady, Japan's second most popular car but no thanks.
Not saying it's a bad car, just doesn't suit my needs. I need something wagon and something competent in the snow.

Yeah but he is a lawyer who understands the

Or too boring for you does it ?
but he is way too biased..so will only present in his favour.

Regarding Tesla's, it not just the cost & servicing, they need special tyres that can't just be bought off the shelf anywhere also.
Im glad others notice, its just weird.
Hey #shitforbrains (plural) look above ^^ I think you will find @info replied to my general personal comment in a very undignified and derogatory manner this morning, now he could have chosen to ignore it but he couldn’t because as SN resident #forummonitor you know he can’t because #there’salwaysanothercomment! Geez, it really is like fishing for flathead here sometimes, all so very predictable but please do carry on

Well if Trump can be retried after he leaves office , because he’s legal team should have opposed Jack Smith’s motion to dismiss
the case before a jury was called,
but didn’t,
Isn’t that worth mentioning,
and worth explaining to Eric Trump
Who is as clueless as everyone else there.?
The law is the law and should be separate to politics ,
sometimes the law becomes political for both sides, but sometimes it can’t be political,

the ABC , toed the line, for another 12 - 24 months...
they still do now to a certain extent
I used to think these people knew they were spreading dubious information, but did it anyway, because it was for the greater good
I'm sure that was the case initially
but, no, their stubbornness and righteousness runs much deeper
they still believe half the bullshit!!

Yes ABC were terrible during Covid i remember long after it was clear vaccines didn't prevent transmission they were still trying to push that line, it was weird.
if they even bothered to correct the record...
you could forgive them
but they just keepa steamrolling along...
it's the same with all the russia russia russia stuff
and hunter's laptop
it seems there's a certain narrative to maintain, and they just flatly refuse to go off script
I watched an old sarah ferguson special on russia russia russia...
I think sarah ferguson is an excellent journalist, I have the utmost respect for her. but she was so so far off the mark - back then - in this special, some form of correction is required, it's her duty...
or someone's duty...
but we get nothing
from anyone at ABC
it's just outright shameful that an outlet such as the ABC can leave so many unanswered questions about the lines they have pushed over recent times...
yet somehow, the likes of rogan and friends are the 'dangerous' ones pushing so called misinformation
it's bizarre
it really is parallel universe stuff

Why? ABC is gov owned, gov bought all the vaxines and tried to force them on everyone, not gonna admit to them not working.

still going to this day. Not ABC but on Triple M this afternoon they were bagging Rogan about something he said regarding Australia's over the top lockdown during Covid.
MSM is absolutely fucked in Australia. The sooner we get an Australian Trump to shake things up the better.
Trump tariffs are as expected. What a dumb ass.
The USA imports 80% of everything they have…now it’s just going to cost the US folk more. https://www.theguardian.com/business/grogonomics/2024/nov/28/welcome-to-...

Now his going to place 25 percent tariffs on
Mexico and Canada, for letting illegal immigrants in to the US .
Except Us gets 60 percent of its crude oil from Canada and huge amounts of produce from Mexico
Not to mention the retaliatory tariffs they will impose on US products going the other way

Rogan = entertainment, nothing more.
Shock horror its just a business model to make money... seriously.
If you are outraged that's the whole point.
^^ G’day @burleigh, big Clive dropping, what was it, $60-80 million at each of the last two elections on the anti Labor vote doesn’t do it for you?
Don’t think your wish could ever get up here thou, something about compulsory voting which forces politics here to be played in the middle much to the chagrin of the right. Now in the US where a 1/3 of voters don’t turn up it means politics is played not in the centre but out on the fringes or as is now the case the lunatic fringes.
Thank god we have compulsory voting and non partisan electoral oversight by the AEC I say …..
@ Burleigh
The lunatic fringe

About as much as maga don’t get. The west has spent post Covid battling to keep inflation under wraps and get it back down? How is this not going to raise inflation? Don’t follow too much but can anyone explain Trumps logic to me? Will it enrich him and others more? American industrial revitalization.? None the less everything will be more expensive then as well. They going to pay a decent wage to do it locally. Won’t that increase inflation?
How many Covid boosters you had erotic wiggle? Im guessing 5

Which actually works the other way,
But who would have guessed?
