The first round of the Toyota Surfing state titles was completed in epic surf on the Yorke Peninsula today, with surfers being greeted with a large and perfect Autumn swell the entire weekend.
Ash King and Teale Vanner combined to create one of the tightest rounds of Jim Beam’s The Break so far, with both blasting out of the blocks, wrestling for the upper hand. Unfortunately for us, we can only pick the one winner and by the time voting closed on Sunday Night Ash King reigned supreme. Congratulations Ash for your efforts and we look forward to seeing you at the finals.
Last weekend (2nd - 4th October, 2010) the 27th Anniversary Cooper's Cutloose Yorkes Classic was held in near perfect, solid waves at Westcape in Innes National Park on Southern Yorke Peninsula.
