Recap

Tiny surf yesterday and today but we've got fun waves for the weekend ahead.

This week and weekend (Jun 10 – 16)

The coming weekend will be the pick of the period with a lean run of surf due to follow.

Our inconsistent, long-period W/SW groundswell is on track with it coming in strong across Western Australia today and we should see it arriving overnight, building through tomorrow.

There'll also be some mid-period W/SW swell energy in the mix thanks to the remnants of the low that generated pushing through the Bight as a front, then dipping south-east into our swell window today.

Tomorrow morning looks to start slow and to 1-2ft but we should see the mid-period and groundswell energy building to an inconsistent 3ft+ by late, easing from 3ft on Sunday morning.

Winds tomorrow morning will be strong from the N/NW, but a front will bring a W/NW change through the afternoon and slight relaxation of the winds. Sunday looks excellent with moderate to fresh N/NW winds due to ease into the afternoon.

Come Monday we're looking at easing 2ft sets with N/NW tending N/NE winds.

Make the most of this swell as next week looks to bottom out with a mid-latitude low moving in through the Bight dominating the synoptics and being too far north of us.

Longer term a small W'ly swell may be seen next weekend but we'll have a closer look at this on Monday. Have a great weekend!
