Recap

A continuation of tiny surf across the South Arm, ideal for beginners.

This weekend and next week (Aug 6 - 12)

We've got plenty of swell due over the weekend but with poor conditions and local winds.

A surface trough that's currently sitting south-southwest of us will drift east today and tomorrow, projecting a fetch of S/SE winds up through our southern swell window.

The trough will clip us tomorrow, bringing strong S/SW tending S'ly winds and building levels of S/SE swell reaching 3ft to possibly 4ft tomorrow afternoon.

Lighter S/SE winds are due into Sunday, likely tending variable in the morning as the trough continues east and this will see easing sets from 3ft. It'll be weak in power but there should be some fun waves worth a paddle across the Arm.

Monday will be cleaner but small and fading from 1-2ft with N/NE tending E/NE winds.

Following this swell there's nothing significant on the cards so try and make the most of Sunday. Have a great weekend!
