This week and weekend (Jun 11 - 16)
I hope you made the most of the weekend's swells as this week looks void of any major surf at all as the storm track sits too far north and across Western and Southern Australia.
Thursday looks like the only day to aim for a surf with a slim fetch of W/SW gales due to form south of us this afternoon and evening, before pushing east out of our swell window tomorrow.
A small pulse of S/SW groundswell should be seen Thursday morning to 1-2ft with offshore N/NW winds. A strong front will generate W'ly winds under us Wednesday evening producing an additional W'ly swell though not above the S/SW swell to 1-2ft.
We may see some very inconsistent W/SW groundswell for Sunday but our eyes move onto next week when we should see a more significant polar frontal progression developing south-west of the country over the weekend.
Some better W/SW groundswell should be seen from Tuesday next week, but we'll have a closer look at this Wednesday.
