Tiny surf to 1ft is expected tomorrow with less than favourably aligned and acute W'ly swell pushing past us, but into Sunday our new W/SW swell should start building.

This swell has been and is still being generated by a slow moving and persistent fetch of strong W/SW-SW winds in our swell window, south of WA.

The weak front is due to project slowly towards us through tomorrow while weakening, with the swell arriving through Sunday and building to 2ft, peaking overnight and easing back from a similar size Monday morning.

An additional close-range W/SW swell is expected to be in the mix Monday morning, produced by a mid-latitude front pushing across us Sunday evening.

This will likely add the odd bigger one near 3ft in the mix Monday morning, easing through the day.

Conditions look good all day Sunday with a persistent W/NW offshore, similar Monday.

We should see the surf back off to a tiny 1ft+ or so into Tuesday and Wednesday as the W/SW swells fade and fronts pushing across us generate poor W/NW winds.

As touched on Wednesday, a stronger mid-latitude frontal progression moving in mid-late week will dip south-east and generate a better fetch W/SW gales in our south-western swell window Wednesday and Thursday.

A good W/SW tending SW swell should be seen, building Thursday and then easing Friday.

At this stage we're looking at surf to 3ft+ but with gusty W/SW winds, cleaner and easing Friday as the swell directions swings more S/SW.

We'll have a closer look at this on Monday though. Have a great weekend!
