This week and weekend (Dec 7 - 10)
Moving into tomorrow and there isn't expected to be any size left at all across the coast, while into Friday, there's been a slight increase in the expected swell.
A weakening front moving in from the west is expected to re-intensify directly south-west of us tomorrow afternoon, with a fetch of strong to gale-force SW tending W/SW winds moving through our swell window.
This should produce a fun kick in SW swell to 2ft through the afternoon, up from 1-1.5ft early. Conditions should be clean most of the day though, with a morning W/NW breeze, possibly shifting W/SW late morning before tending W/NW again into the afternoon with another approaching front.
This incoming front will also strengthen on approach, with a broadening and strengthening fetch of W/SW winds developing through our swell window Saturday.
This will generate a building W/SW swell through Saturday, reaching to 2-3ft through the afternoon, easing back from a similar size Sunday morning, holding 2ft Monday as a secondary weak front moves in from the west.
This continued frontal activity will result in winds swinging offshore out of the NW Sunday morning and only tending W/NW into the afternoon, with NW winds ahead of SE sea breezes Monday.
Longer term there's nothing significant on the cards until later next week, so plan around the coming days of surf.
