Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 15th July)

Best Days: No good days, check the South Arm forecast

Recap

The S'ly swell hitting the South Arm failed to really get in and around up our coast unfortunately with tiny offerings yesterday and a touch more swell today, but there's also some distant E/NE energy in the mix.

This weekend and next week (Jul 16 - 22)

Whatever swell was in the water today is expected to fade through the weekend with no real surfing options at all. Even south magnets will struggle to pick up a 1-2ft wave tomorrow morning, tiny to flat Sunday.

Unfortunately there's nothing significant at all for the coming forecast period as the storm track remains zonal with storms tracking west to east across us.

This isn't expected to change until possibly next weekend when we may see a mid-latitude low pushing across us, but we'll have a closer look at this Monday. Otherwise have a check of the South Arm forecast.
