Central QLD: Tiny surf closes out 2023

Tiny surf across the region.

Tiny wind chop is about it

No change to the outlook, very weak pressure gradients in the Coral Sea and an absence of swell generating winds extends through the last week of 2023 and right through the first week of 2024.

Therefore we are looking at tiny/flat surf this week.

Lifeless Coral Sea

Into next week and weak winds in the Coral Sea continue. We do see a new high in the Tasman early next week but only a marginal increase (if anything) in size is expected.

Better to plan for tiny/flat surf into next week and we’ll see how it looks come Fri.
