Good winds for the beaches but fading swell energy over the coming days, kicking again late week but with shifting winds. Differing pulses of swell for the weekend.
Primary tabs
Not your typical forecast with persistent offshore winds for the beaches from Sunday along with fun sized swells.
Easing, slow surf tomorrow for the desperate, increasing in size Friday but with onshore winds. We'll see fun waves and cleaner conditions from Sunday, easing into the middle-end of next week.
Clean conditions with a fun, new swell mid-week. A larger, stronger swell is due late week but winds will ruin it as a mid-latitude low forms in the Tasman Sea. The longer term continues to see mid-latitude storms and no major Southern Ocean activity.
Cleaner conditions through the weekend but fading surf, very slow into early next week. There's one fun day of surf next week before winds shift onshore.
Poor, stormy surf over the coming days, though we'll see a window open up east of Melbourne. Following this there's no decent surf on the cards until mid-late next week.
The coming forecast period isn't ideal at all with cold, onshore, wet and windy weather. So make the most of the current, windy waves today and tomorrow.
A fun run of surf over the coming days. Nothing overly sizey but clean and breezey at times.
Nothing too great for the coming period but there'll be periods of clean fun waves across both coasts before everything goes large and stormy mid-next week.
A mix of weaker swells this week with generally favourable winds, better next week with increased swell activity and wind.
