Spit Breaks The Drought
The East Coast has been languishing under a flat spell for the past two weeks. Yesterday there was some respite for Sydney and surrounds as an unexpected south swell made it's way up the coast. The conditions however, were far from typical for this time of year. The swell didn't make it very far up the coast either, so the north coast and Queensland went without again.
That said, it hasn't been completely flat up north. Adam Weathered took a wander up to the Spit where he caught Blake Wilson and Dane Bird putting on a bit of a show in the small but well-shaped waves.// STUART NETTLE
