Just under three weeks ago, ex-Tropical Cyclone Oswald moved down the Queensland coast bringing torrential rain, flooding and large storm surf. 

As the storm drifted south, skies cleared and winds shifted offshore, with one late afternoon on the Sunny Coast providing some standout waves for those keeping a close eye on the beach.

Peter Perreaux was on the ground to capture these beautifully lit images, and with the current dose of bad weather, it serves as a reminder that once it clears, the sun and surf will shine again.
