Betwixt the Tweed and Nerang
It's been a fantastic run of early winter waves in Southeast Queensland - and we're not sick of the imagery just yet. The mid year swells may not consistently deliver the size and strength of the summer events, but it's made up for in spades by gorgeous sunny days and crystal clear water. Tie this in with a superb range of banks betwixt the Tweed and Nerang rivers, and there's every reason to get up for the a pre-dawn patrol. Hamish Laing scouted the southern end of the Gold Coast over the weekend and captured these excellent winter specimens. //BEN MATSON
