You Should Have Been Here Yesterday // The Noosa To Noarlunga Tour
This October, 'You Should Have Been Here Yesterday' hits the road for the 'From Noosa to Noarlunga' Q&A tour where director Jolyon Hoff will be accompanied by special guests and surfing legends at each screening.
'You Should Have Been Here Yesterday' is a homage of footage rescued by The Surf Film Archive - that being Jolyon and Hamish and their enthusiasm to digitise old surf footage before it turns to dust.

Sounds like a good night out.
Looks fun.
Thanks Tim. Keep up your great work! Love it. What a library you must have!
Awesome.
I get the feeling the effort and time put in by Jolyon and Hamish will only be appreciated after the fact.
Bravo and thank you to you both.
Thanks crg,
We're slowly getting the 150 hours of remastered footage up on the Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@surffilmarchive
Kudos to the filmmakers who lugged the 16mm cameras around and found a way to buy and develop the filmstock. Long before GoPros and webcams!
A screening in WA would be nice
That sure looks good to me.
A big shout out to all and surfers who donated to the cause.
Can’t wait to hear and see the results. AW
I was checking the Port Macquarie and Newy screening times and noticed a small error on the dates.
The Kotara screening is showing Monday 28th @6:30pm on the actual cinema link. (not Sun 27)
Thanks. We'll check out what's happening there.
Tks for spotting that. We're updating now.
No probs. Have a great tour.
I see it's been corrected in your link.
Paging one of the SN team for a quick edit here. cheers.
Done. Cheers.
That sure looks good to me.

Yes, thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way. And it was many!
Yep, West Oz getting the blunt stick end, as usual.
Hey West Ozzies,
We have already screened at Albany, Busselton and Perth so far, and we'd love to come again. Just need to find the opportunity.
Sounds good, will keep an eye out for it
Cool!!
May as well bring it over to NZ then!
We're working on it. Some beautiful shots from 1960s NZ in the film. And the archive,
Great. Looking forward to it.
the noarlunga sa show link is broken?
