Watch: Jerome Forrest in the South-west
The Margs Pro waiting period kicked off today but the WSL went straight into a holding pattern, today was called a layday and tomorrow too.
While we wait for Friday's swell to hit, and speculate where they're gonna run the thing, here's local lad Jerome Forrest doing the rounds of the south-west.

Wow. Who is the band/slash? Liked that too.
so much hair flicking . is surfing turning into zoolander ?
What do you reckon Sheep! would we "all who just cried" about how boring Bells was rather run it at Main break or Box?
Was that Gsbay be good to run it there or even some of those sick beaches could be the main wsl location with North point and Box as a back up. I mean we are lacking a consistent Aframe like Dbah on tour and why! As spots like Dbah and ballina are allways high performance waves even onshore Left and rights! Count how many airs are done in Aus! On tour..bugger all because we don't put the pros in sick aframe ramps at all really on tour.
Just trample all the dunes, kinda wish the whole tour would fuck off from south west WA
@W41 Are you from NZ?
Plenty o barrels n not a claim in kooee
I have ideas on splitting up with my girlfriend. I can write shit.
so much look at me hair flicking , is surfing turning into zoolander ?
Things ya don't expect to see on SN. Jerome was a grom with a healthy dose of cheek/respect last I saw him. Was the standout among his peers in an all round kinda way. Ex missus taught him at school at the time too, was one of her fave students even if he was a cheeky little prick :-)
Anyway, great to see this little clip.
And still rockin the same fringe that needs a flickin!
Sorry to high jack the comments. Could someone please review JJF (Heat 1) at the 24 minute mark (replay shows various angles) and tell me whether that's a shark coming down the face inside the wave? Not sure if anyone else has picked that up.
No waves ridden at the 24 min mark? Couldn't see anything in waves before or after.
I think Whitebait means at around 8:12 to go. I think it is a dolphin.
