Watch: Reef Heazlewood // Wavegarden's New Air Section
With a few lines of code, saved and sent around the world, each Wavegarden pool has access to a number of new waves. Some of which are new air waves - or if you're over 40, floater waves.
Says the press release: "In this latest upgrade, we have perfected four new airs waves and several barrel waves. The new air waves are ideal for straight airs, rotations, flips and alley-oops. A softer wave with less pop (force) has also been created for training purposes. Our new innovative software program has allowed us to create these waves by altering their power, steepness, and angle."
Recently Reef Heazlewood tested his sprightly sub-40 ankles and knees on the new wave at the Tulla Tub.
Not sure when they're available. If I find out I'll note it in the comments.

Just watched his Rivals episode and he is apparent master of the grovel. Perfect man for the showcase for that joint.
That may be so, but I could see myself floating the shit out of that new section, tail dropping like it's 1989, before flicking off with a nose wipe, cuff tug, head shake, no claim claim.
The head shake got so extreme in the long-haired nineties that it evolved into the Hair-Quake. Probably responsible for most of the slipped discs in the neck that mid life surfers now deal with. I was guilty of Hair Quakes so extreme that my friends still routinely piss themselves laughing at my expense.
BTW….the surfing being practiced by Reef Hazlewood is farkin unbelievable.
55 seconds in is a snapshot of an average session Hair Quake quota back in the day.
I’d like to use it to perfect the Mason Ho floater
Plenty of grovel experience growing up on the Sunshine Coast.
Well , that was quite remarkable . He makes it look so easy.
Definitely a mad floater or snap section for this old boy .. can rip it to bits reef ..
Would love a session there that is half this and half barrels.
In 20 years kids will say, did you surf in the ocean? You can’t even practice mc twists. That’s shit.
Urbnsurf (New Advanced Turns is a real Eye opener)
Careful not to poke yer eye out with that thingy!
Yeah! Should've gone to Specsavers! All say Aye!
Not all bad ... Surf Vader Sound FX should clear the line up.
