If you were serious, can I put to bed the one about there being higher rates of death in aged care in country’s that have higher death taxes. Please. I assume that was a joke but I just couldn’t say.

Ivermectin trials are going on, why do we need to do them here? Locality isn’t really important in science. Perhaps Dan Andrews was busy with other things when Vic was in lockdown and just couldn’t find the time to organise a randomised control trial of ivermectin efficacy as a treatment. Let it go Supafreak. We’ve all been pretty busy.

It seems we have established that the theory is that ivermectin is a treatment, not a vaccine, as discussed way back, good to clear that up. Not a vaccine, no value in taking before infection.

Ivermectin 100% effective in preventing serious illness or death not supported by their supporters own website, which states a 58%, or was it 68% reduction in mortality.

Issuing Ivermectin now without trials is not science. That is called anecdote.

If I get river blindness, or perhaps one of those ringwormy parasites, I’ll probably be asking for treatment with ivermectin, or anything effective against those conditions.

Likelihood that any of the vaccines gives you Covid is so close to zero as to be laughable, however nurse or doctor injecting you could become a super-spreader if they didn’t follow protocols. Don’t be too worried about that, they’re pretty damned good at their jobs.

Physical distancing and masks do provide supportive protection but are not complete on their own. People suggesting that distancing has no effect on transmission really don’t know what they are talking about.

Australia has not spent trillions on this. Australia’s annual GDP is about half a trillion. We’ve spent a few billion on vaccinations, which is effectively petty cash for the government. Most expenditure has been on keeping very large companies suitably cashed up and able to pay execs and shareholders bonuses and dividends. Don’t sweat the cost of the vaccine.

If you get a vaccine you may get some side effects. Don’t whinge, just take it, or don’t. On current figures the likelihood of getting a clot is about half of the likelihood of you getting a clot without the vaccine. Interesting that one.

Try to chill a little. We’re still in a good place, comparatively. Recognising that this has more significant implications for TBB than others as he has other treatments going on, which he can’t get to now.

WHO do not have a research lab in Wuhan, that’s a Chinese govt lab.

I’m not disputing that long Covid exists, but the fact the way it is always brought up as justification for shutting down the planet when it’s rightly pointed out that the fatality rate of Covid is so small and so demographically specific that there no real reason there why younger and healthier people can’t just go about there lives with Covid no more risky than anything else.

I keep hearing things like “just the tip of the iceberg”but this sounds like wishful thinking as there is no surge of long Covid. There’s articles and studies based on the tiny minority of people that endure it but where is this epidemic that would destroy humanity to the point that we should hide in fear? It doesn’t exist and if it did the evidence of it would be splashed over the headlines instead of the fear-mongering MSM’s need to exaggerate and extrapolate from studies so small that they present no real clinical value.

Long Covid exists and it’s an issue for those who get it but the incidence of it is so small that it’s no reason to close down life as we know it. As I’ve said previously, plenty of people deal with malaria long after they’ve contradicted it but this doesn’t cause humanity to hide in their basement.

I’m open minded here. Show me that long Covid is devastating humanity worse than anything since the Black Death and I’ll join you in being scared shitless. Not like I’m immune to fear, I just don’t feel afraid cause I see no reason to be afraid.

Note that there is mention of long term effects from pneumonia in the article. The planet doesn’t go into lockdown over pneumonia. People aren’t ordered by the government to endure curfew when it gets cold outside. It’s all a matter of assessing risk.

What is it that you’re railing for Blowin. The roll back of travel/movement restrictions, not wearing a mask, not trusting the vaccination, possibly something else?
There is some pretty strong evidence thrown up above that support the argument that we are not out of the woods yet and long term COVID is affecting a reasonable percentage of people who catch Covid.
I think comparing Covid to say pneumonia falls on deaf ears a lot of the time. Mainly because pneumonia is not transmissible like Covid, rather it is a possible symptom of catching Covid with long term consequences. The concern I would guess with Covid is you or I may take all precautions to lead a healthy lifestyle yet contract a transmissible disease because someone else doesn’t agree with public health advice, much like other public health advice in regard to not smoking, eating healthy and exercise?

The pneumonia one is a bit like the malaria argument. There are precautions that an individual can take to prevent catching malaria. There is public health advice and numerous public health initiatives to reduce the contraction of malaria.
We are just in one that is new, evolving, largely unknown and worldwide. A public health initiative....... I think.

I do think that the Covid passport will be a Trojan horse used to bring in mandatory digital ID which will then be used to coerce and control individual behaviour in society.

Historically, volunteers who trial new drugs and vaccines are monitored for 7 or so years, as to assess any LONG TERM effects of the new drug/vaccine BEFORE the substance is released for community usage. With these covid vaccines , this was NOT DONE. No one can deny this. Pro covid vaxxers when asked about this get their shackles up, and usually start abusing.
But facts are facts. These vaccines are not vaccines for people. They are vaccines for the economy.

These vaccines don't stop people carrying the disease. Why should carriers be alowed to travel?
