I'm back in SA for holidays and headed down the coast on Monday with a clean new groundswell and offshore winds.

The winds became a hassle from mid morning onwards but there were still some good waves all day if you went searching.

Here's a selection of my favourites from the day..

1) Knights turning inside out on itself

2 & 3) Boomers outer reef, most of the time just a super fast and fun drop to a real fat shoulder and then bone crunching shorey. Can get some decent waves if it walls all the way to the shorey.

3 & 4) Similar but different angle to 2 and 3

5, 6 & 7) Knights wedge/closeout

So Craig was there any actual decent surf given that swell and offshore winds?
Looks like a lot of semi close-outs and not quite there spots.

Welcome to Victor Harbor!!

So many almost spots that should be firing, but the wind came up from about 9am and was blowing 20kt+ making it hard to see when paddling into waves and holding you back.

Yes there were some good spots but all in all if that swell was around another section of coastline it would of been cranking!

Dump was not that good as the wind came up to over 20kts and was making it hard to get into and then holding you back on the wave.

In saying that there were still some fun ones and the sets were around 3ft.

Here's a couple more of a leftie..
