Kandooma is a surf resort in the Maldives, just a 45-minute speedboat ride from the capital, Male. Kandooma's surf guide is Sydney surfer, Jeremy Wilmotte, who happens to be quite handy with a camera and pen. There are less than a handful of charter boats operating in the Banyaks and only one land-camp so the chances of scoring some world class waves to yourself is very high.
I have to admit that on the first couple of days of this trip we did not see any great waves. Sure we surfed, we surfed waves that were, for the most part, better than anything you would get on an average day on Australian beachbreaks. However, the swell was small and the winds a little too strong to offer up any Indonesian Perfection.

Call yourself The Perfect Wave Travel Company and you've set yourself a lofty goal. When those customers walk through the door they've got high and hollow expectations - can't blame 'em either.
A recent crew on the Samudra Biru found no reson to call the ACCC following their Mentawai charter. Even scored 'emselves a couple of perfect waves into the deal.
