During the first day of the Bells waiting period, which ended up being a layday, Jordy Smith, Cory Lopez and CJ Hobgood freesurfed a nearby beachbreak. The waves were 2-3 feet and extremely puntable. Swellnet photographer, Steve Arklay, caught all three going for broke.
