- Small SW swell Mon with W/NW tending gusty SW winds late AM
- Tiny Tue with W/NW tending SE winds
Recap
Great conditions with 2ft of swell yesterday morning, wind affected into the afternoon.
This morning was clean again but tiny and back to 1-1.5ft.
This weekend and next week (Feb 11 - 17)
Tiny surf to 1-1.5ft is likely to continue tomorrow across Clifton before bottoming out Sunday.
Unfortunately a trough is due to bring moderate S'ly winds tomorrow, easing late morning and into the afternoon, but not enough to make the surf worth while.
Come Sunday a pre-dawn N'ly is due to shift SW shortly after and then strengthen from the S/SW late morning. Again a lay day with the lack of swell.
We should see a small SW swell for Monday, generated by a tight and short-lived burst of W/SW winds to our south-west tomorrow evening and early Sunday.
A sneaky 1-2ft of swell is likely Monday and with W/NW morning winds ahead of a S/SW change late morning.
Following this swell there's nothing too significant on the cards until next weekend when some healthy frontal activity is due to fire up south of Western Australia. So until then try the East Coast Forecaster Notes for more options. Have a great weekend!
