Recap

Onshore surf yesterday with a small 1-2ft wave, cleaner this morning with a variable breeze and similar 1-2ft sets.

This weekend and next week (Jan 7 - 13)

The weekend will consist of fading surf from a tiny 1-1.5ft across Clifton but with favourable winds for more exposed spots.

A moderate N/NE breeze is due tomorrow morning ahead of stronger E/NE winds into the afternoon.

Sunday will become tiny as winds strengthen from the N/NE, shifting E/NE into the afternoon again.

A trough is due to bring a S'ly change to the South Arm on Monday, late morning and following this, the trough looks to stall to our east, bringing unfavourable S'ly winds Tuesday.

A light offshore N'ly breeze is due into Wednesday and this will be as a mix of W/SW and SW swell eases.

The source of these swells which should peak on Tuesday will be a high-riding frontal system followed by a small polar fetch of weak SW winds over the weekend.

The size only looks to reach 1-2ft max through Tuesday, easing Wednesday from 1-1.5ft with those improving winds.

Longer term tiny swells look to continue but we'll have a closer look at this Monday. Have a great weekend!
