Recap

Fun surf this AM

This weekend and next week (Nov 26 – Dec 2)

We should see fun, clean 1-2ft sets continuing tomorrow across Clifton, as a small mid-period SW swell fills un, generated by a weak low moving through our swell window this week.

Conditions look clean through the morning with a N'ly offshore, shifting E/NE-NE and strengthening from later morning. So surf before then.

Sunday looks tiny with N/NW morning winds, shifting W and then W/SW through the afternoon/evening.

Into Sunday afternoon a new pulse of mid-period SW swell is due, generated by a distant but healthy fetch of sub-gale-force W/NW winds to the south-southwest of Western Australia.

Inconsistent 2ft+ sets are due across Clifton with that W-W/SW wind, easing from a similar size Monday with cleaner conditions under N/NW-NW offshore.

Also in the mix on Monday will be a small mid-period W/SW swell, generated by a small, strengthening low to our south-west on the weekend. This should maintain fun 2ft sets across Clifton into the afternoon before easing Tuesday.

As the swell eases Tuesday, some new mid-period energy should start to build, followed by a stronger increase in SW groundswell Wednesday.

Initially and at distance to us, a fetch of strong to gale-force W/NW tending W winds will produce a SW groundswell for Wednesday, while the remnants of the low are due to project up slowly towards us early next week, with some mid-period W/SW energy due to build on Tuesday.

Increasing surf to 3ft+ is due through Tuesday afternoon with Wednesday seeing larger 3-4ft surf, easing Thursday.

Winds will be average and gusty out of the W/SW on Tuesday morning, tipping W/NW late in the day, with N/NW tending W/SW winds on Wednesday.

A trough looks to bring a weak S change on Thursday, with some good sized reinforcing W/SW swell on the cards for later in the week, but we'll review this Monday. Have a great weekend!
