  • Better W/SW swell for next weekend

Recap

Light winds early yesterday but with a tiny swell, onshore today though with a bit more energy.

This weekend and next week (Nov 27 – Dec 3)

Looking at the local conditions into tomorrow morning and we're now due to see a light offshore N'ly breeze as a low forming off the southern NSW coast sits a bit further north-east, away from us, hence bringing better winds.

The pulse of swell for today is expected to ease but we should see fun 2ft sets in the morning, smaller through the afternoon with variable E/NE winds.

Sunday will be tiny but clean again and ideal for beginners with a light N/NW offshore ahead of S/SE sea breezes.

Into Monday and Tuesday we're looking at our new pulse of mid-period W/SW swell but it's looking a little smaller than what was forecast on Wednesday.

This is due to the pre-frontal fetch of W/NW winds generating it being quite fast moving and a little weaker than originally forecast as well as being a touch off axis.

Still, we should see a fun pulse of energy Monday to an inconsistent 2ft, easing from 1-2ft on Tuesday morning.

Conditions should be clean with a light N/NW offshore Monday morning, shifting S/SE late morning and better, longer lasting NW tending E/NE winds on Tuesday. The middle of the week will become tiny.

Longer term a slow moving, relatively weak but broad polar frontal progression looks to generate some fun W/SW swell for next weekend. More on this Monday. Have a great weekend!
