Recap

Great conditions for beginners yesterday with clean, tiny 1-1.5ft waves. Today onshore winds have moved in and the surf is poor.

This weekend and next week (Nov 20 – 26)

Today's change is linked to a relatively weak but healthy polar frontal system pushing under us, bringing some fun swell to the Arm tomorrow.

It'll be mid-period in nature but sets to 3ft are due across Clifton along with variable W'ly winds, ahead of S/SE sea breezes. It won't be perfect but hopefully fun.

The swell should then ease Sunday with similar winds, variable W in the morning ahead of S/SE sea breezes. The swell will be easing though down from 2ft+.

We've got some good reinforcing pulses of swell due into next week from firstly, a small tight front firing up on the tail of the system moving through today, then a stronger low.

The slim front should generate a fun kick back to 2ft on Monday but again with variable winds ahead of S/SE sea breezes.

The stronger low is due to fire up under Western Australia tomorrow evening, generating a good fetch of W/NW gales while tracking slightly east-southeast. The low will pass under us Monday, with the groundswell from it arriving Tuesday and offering good 3ft sets across Clifton again but with more strength than tomorrow's swell.

Winds look great and out of the N/NE ahead of sea breezes, with the swell easing Wednesday with similar N/NE tending stronger E/NE winds.

Following this a trough will move in and possibly form into a low south-east of us, bringing a weak increase in S/SE windswell Friday, but more on this Monday. Have a great weekend!
