Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl

This week and weekend (Nov 20 - 25)

The surf will continue to ease off through tomorrow leaving tiny waves across Clifton and there's nothing decent due until later in the week and more so the weekend.

A deepening mid-latitude low is expected to drift in from South Australia and stall off our East Coast later this week.

We'll see a strong onshore S/SW change Thursday as the low moves across us, kicking up a weak small windswell into the afternoon, easing back temporarily into Friday morning.

Once the low starts to wind up off the East Coast on Friday we'll see strong to gale-force S/SE winds aimed into us, generating a building S/SE swell through the day though with poor conditions.

The swell looks to ease through Saturday as the low starts to weaken but winds will be still onshore from the S/SW.

In saying this though, a moderate sized S/SE swell and S/SW winds will open up opportunities.

After this swell eases there's nothing too significant on the cards so check back here on Wednesday for an update on how this low and swell are evolving.
