Tiny onshore waves yesterday while today our new W/SW groundswell has come in on forecast with 1-2ft waves across Clifton with a variable morning wind.

Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl

This weekend and next week (Mar 3- 9)

Today's W/SW groundswell should be reinforced by a similar sized but less consistent swell later today, holding tomorrow morning.

We should see 1-2ft sets persisting across Clifton with a morning offshore ahead of sea breezes as the swell fades.

Unfortunately for the rest of the period we're looking at generally tiny surf with no major frontal activity firing up in our swell window.

The best chance for a wave will be Monday we're a weak front moving through Sunday may generate 1-1.5ft sets max. Conditions should be clean through the early morning ahead of a SW change.

The next possible surfable swell looks to fill in Thursday, generated by a strong but south-east tracking polar lows south-west of us. We're only looking at 1-2ft sets, but more on this Monday. Have a great weekend!
