Today’s Forecaster Notes are brought to you by Rip Curl

This week and weekend (Nov 23 - 26)

There's still been no change to our poor outlook of waves.

A very inconsistent and tiny W/SW groundswell due later today and more so tomorrow morning isn't due to top 1ft across Clifton. Exposed swell magnets may see a touch more size and winds will be favourable for these spots with a N/NW tending fresh N/NE-NE wind, E into the evening.

A weak surface trough moving in from the west is due to be weaker again and we're now due to see morning offshore winds Friday and Saturday but no swell.

Longer term, a strong but distant polar frontal progression firing up south-west of WA over the coming days should generate a small but fun increase in inconsistent W/SW groundswell early next week.

The swell should fill in Monday, reaching an inconsistent 2ft on the sets across Clifton into the afternoon though with onshore winds in the wake of a change.

The surf is due to ease back to 1-2ft Tuesday, but a secondary strong polar front should generate a reinforcing swell for Wednesday morning to 1-2ft and winds should swing back offshore. We'll have to confirm this Friday though.
