Tiny to small waves continue
Southern Tasmania Forecast (issued Monday 1st September)
Best Days: No great days but probably early Wednesday and Friday
Recap
The swell was tiny over the weekend and has become near flat into this morning.
This week (Sep 1 - 5)
The outlook for the start of this week is average with this afternoon's onshore change bringing with it a weak increase in windswell and then short-range swell for the afternoon. Northing above 1-2ft is expected into the afternoon before fading Wednesday. Tomorrow still looks average wind wise with W/SW tending SW winds, while Wednesday should see an early W/NW'ly.
Into the end of the week a long-range and inconsistent W/SW groundswell is due but again not above 1-2ft across Clifton later Thursday and Friday morning. Conditions will be bumpy with W/SW winds Thursday arvo, with Friday morning seeing good NW winds.
Longer term there's still nothing major on the cards into the weekend and early next week. Super longer term (ie the following weekend) may hold more hope as a strong node of the Long Wave Trough moves in through next week, but we'll review this Wednesday.
