Great waves east of Melbourne tomorrow and on the Surf Coast's beaches with good surf to the west from Wednesday through the end of the week.
We’re well and truly on the backside of this swell event; it and the fresh south swell that arrived today will both throttle back through Saturday.
Both existing swells will ease further overnight, and we’ll be left with small peaky waves for Saturday with freshening W’ly winds ahead of a gusty S/SW change that’s expected to reach the South Coast around lunchtime and the Sydney, Hunter and Illawarra region late afternoon.
