Average, tiny period
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 20th November)
Best Days: No good days
Recap
Tiny yesterday but we've got a fun pulse of N/NE windswell to 2-3ft today with clean conditions, improving for southern corners with a S'ly change.
This week and weekend (Nov 21 - 27)
In the wake of today's S'ly change we'll see a late kick in S'ly windswell but to no major size (2-3ft late south magnets), fading from 1-2ft or so early tomorrow. There'll also be no N/NE windswell left and a dawn S/SW breeze will swing SE quickly ahead of NE sea breezes.
A quick burst of N/NE winds Saturday evening may generate a small 1-2ft of N/NE windswell Sunday. Wind should swing from a light N/NW'ly to the N/NE ahead of a S/SE change later in the day favouring southern corners for the desperate.
Looking at next week and unfortunately the deepening low that was forecast for the Tasman Sea now looks to move too quick and generate fetches aimed out of our swell window.
This will result in no significant swell for us, with tiny, flukey pulses of swell now expected. If looking for a wave try the South Arm Forecaster Notes. Have a great weekend!
