Poor forecast period ahead
Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Wednesday 5th July)
Best Days: No good days, check the South Arm forecast
Recap
Small leftover amounts of SE swell yesterday, while this morning a tiny hint of E'ly swell was spreading up from a weak fetch south us around a broad low.
This week and weekend (Jul 6 - 9)
We may see tiny levels of E/SE swell continuing into tomorrow morning, spreading up from a stationary fetch of weak E'ly winds sitting to our south-east (right).
This fetch will drift out of our swell window overnight and with this the swell will fade through the day.
From here we're unfortunately looking at a tiny run of surf with weather systems pushing in from the west across us.
They'll be too north to generate any S'ly swell for our magnets and there's nothing brewing in the Tasman Sea to keep the coast active. The South Arm will offer small waves so check the forecast for other options.
