Eastern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Monday 17th April)

Best Days: No good days

Recap

Great waves Saturday morning with clean easing surf from Friday's good E/SE groundswell, smaller and inconsistent into yesterday.

Today the surf was tiny and super inconsistent with a long-range E/NE groundswell from the back of New Zealand providing the odd set at open beaches (15 minutes apart).

This week and weekend (Apr 18 - 23)

There's not much to get excited about this week at all. Our very inconsistent E/NE groundswell from the back of New Zealand should come in at 1-2ft every 15 minutes or so across open beaches tomorrow and Wednesday before fading Thursday.

Conditions will be clean each morning with offshore winds before sea breezes kick in (not so Wednesday).

With this outlook it might be checking the South Arm forecast for more options this week.

Into the weekend there's still no decent signs of swell, with a possible small S'ly groundswell for later in the day Sunday and Monday morning. This would only be around 2ft if that, so I hope you made the most of late last week and Saturday.
