Best Days: No great days, Tuesday morning probably the pick

Recap

Tiny clean waves only surfable for beginners.

This week and weekend (Aug 13 - 16)

A small spike in S'ly swell is still possible tomorrow from a weakening polar front pushing past us through the morning. A kick to 2ft across south facing beaches is possible, but with average SW winds.

The swell will be all but gone Friday as winds swing back offshore from the W/NW.

Into Saturday a weak S'ly change early in the morning isn't expected to bring any new swell and flat conditions are due to continue into Sunday.

Into early next week some better S'ly swell is due to build through Monday and peak early Tuesday as a stronger polar front pushes up and past us.

This should kick south facing beaches to 3-4ft later in the day with S/SW winds, easing from 3-4ft+ Tuesday morning but with W/SW tending S/SW breezes. Wednesday will be clean but small and dropping from 2ft or so.

Longer term some further S'ly swell is due late week, but we'll review this Friday.
